Welcome to 69 Strand

Your hosts Peter and Lynn welcome you to 69 Strand, where you will be extremely comfortable in any of our 3 self catering units. Situated on Strand Road on the Bluff, we are 15 minutes away from the vibrant city centre of Durban and a mere 10 minutes away from Durban International Airport. Our breathtaking 180 degree view of the Indian Ocean will leave you feeling relaxed and revitalised! Spotting whales and dolphins from your private deck is not rare, especially around the winter months (Mid May - August.).

This unit can sleep up to six people comfortably. It has two separate bed-rooms, each with a queen sized bed and the living area has a double sleeper couch. The living area also has T.V and D.S.T.V (satellite). From the living area sliding doors lead you out to the patio where you can enjoy beautiful sea-views and a spectacular African sunrise. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped  with stove, fridge, microwave,  toaster, kettle, sink,  crockery and cutlery.  The bathroom consists of a bath, toilet and a basin.

The Lower unit sleeps up  to four people,with 1 queen size bed in the main bedroom and a double sleeper couch in the living area. The living area also has T.V and D.S.T.V (satellite). Safe and convenient parking is directly outside. This ground floor unit also has beautiful sea-views and is a few steps away from the Sun deck that is perched right on the edge.. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped  with stove, fridge, microwave,  toaster, kettle, sink,  crockery and cutlery. The bathroom consists of a bath, toilet and a basin.

The guest unit sleeps two people and is popular with honeymooners. It has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and en-suite bathroom. The living area has T.V and D.S.T.V (satellite). From the living area sliding doors lead you out to your own private sun-deck where you can enjoy the beautiful sea-views and surroundings. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped  with stove, fridge, microwave,  toaster, kettle, sink,  crockery and cutlery.  The bathroom consists of a shower, toilet and a basin.
