Amanzi Island Lodge

On Leisure Isle's waterfront, Amanzi Island Lodge looks out over the magical Knysna lagoon towards the Heads.  Our cosy guest lounge, dining room and pub offer guests spectacular views of the lagoon, as do four of our spacious bedrooms. We have a large private swimming pool in the back garden where guests can soak up the South African sun.  Bicycles and paddle skis are available for the use of the guests who would like to explore the island.

A beautiful, secluded island in the heart of the Knysna lagoon, Leisure Isle is surrounded by soft white sand and washed by the warm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

Four of our spacious bedrooms have wonderful uninterrupted views of the lagoon and Knysna Heads.  The remaining garden-facing room looks out over Leisure Island towards the Northern hills that surround Knysna town.  The spacious guest lounge and honesty bar also have views of the Knysna Heads as do the breakfast room and balcony.

All of our bedrooms have an en suite bathroom, TV ( Mnet and shared DSTV ), tea and coffee tray, and digital electronic safes.
