The Harmony Suite
Relax in this spacious, sunny, king bedded room with a private sitting room looking out on to the tranquil, bird-filled garden. The large bay window in the bedroom invites you to curl up with a good book or, if you prefer, rest on the king size bed whilst watching television. The en-suite bathroom has a roomy shower with tiled seating so your splash time can be enjoyed in comfort.
The Honeysuckle Suite
Wake up to the kiss of the morning sun and hear the sound of the ocean from this east-facing room having enjoyed a comfortable night’s sleep in the king-size bed (which may be converted to twin beds). The Jacuzzi-spa bath in the en-suite bathroom makes this room a sought-after choice.
Finch Cottage
So named for the twittering the busy finches in the large pine tree, the cottage, set apart from the main Lodge, is suited to a couple wishing privacy or a small family group. The bedroom has a double bed, the bathroom a shower and the open-plan lounge/kitchen has a single sleeper couch. Guests wishing to self-cater will find all the equipment needed to prepare their meals or may enjoy a braai on a private patio.
The Sunkissed Suite
The mid-morning sun streams into this delightful king bedded room overlooking the front garden. The large bay window is a delightful place from which to watch the birds at play in the strategically placed birdbaths or scrabbling for food from the bird feeders.
If desired, the bed may be converted to twin beds.
The bathroom has a bath, a shower and “his”/ hers” basins.
Lighthouse (adjoined to Sunkissed Suite)
This twin bedded room is adjacent to, and sold in conjunction with, Sunkissed Room as the two rooms share the bathroom. The room is decorated in calming cream with splashes of brilliant crimson. These two rooms are suitable for a family group or friends travelling together.
• On designated days of the week and subject to demand, Bayside Lodge’s own transport will conduct orientation trips of Plett to the local view sites, places of interest and nearby beaches.
• Friday evenings, weather permitting; a catch-of-the-day picnic will be set up on the beach at R120 per person. Booking essential.
• Traditional South African “braais” will be served one evening a week (weather permitting) at R90 per person. Booking essential.
• Plettenberg Bay has it all – magnificent beaches, indigenous forests and mountains. Nature lovers, adrenaline junkies, tranquility seekers – there’s something for everyone.
