Welcome to Beach Belle Bed and Breakfast/Self-Catering accommodation in Durban.
Beach Belle, which is situated on the Bluff, is the ultimate family holiday home. Literally a stone’s throw away from the sea, we have our own personal beach access and unspoilt sea views. Our garden is outlined with bush and makes for a very private setting.
For those who would like to venture into the city, we are just 15 minutes South of Durban's Central Business District,
where Durban's Golden Mile, uShaka Marine World and ICC are situated.
BEDROOM 1: The “Rust” Room
This cosy bedroom has a warm and snug feel to it. There are two very comfortable single beds.
Tea and coffee facilities available as well as a wardrobe with draws and hanging space. There is a
wall-sized mirror, which makes the room feel even more spacious and luxurious. There are sea
views from the bedroom window, and when the window is open, you will get the full effect of the
fresh sea air and tumbling waves. The Rust Room has its own private bathroom with a bath and
shower.
BEDROOM 2: The Seashore Suite
This light and spacious room has stunning sea views and a real holiday feel. Two comfy single beds
available (with the option of making them a King Size bed) as well as a tea and coffee facility. The
Seashore Suite is very private and has its own elegant en suite with a shower and bidet. There is
also a massive cupboard with plenty of hanging and or storage space. This beautiful suite is perfect
for listening to the ocean and relaxing.
BEDROOM 3: The “Dolphin” Suite
This gorgeous bedroom sleeps three (single) with the option of a fourth sleeper on a pullout bed. There is a view onto the garden, which is surrounded with indigenous greenery and a lot of inquisitive monkeys and bird life – the ocean is still clearly audible from the privacy of your bed. There is a lovely en suite with a shower. The Dolphin Suite is the perfect holiday room with tea and coffee facilities and a hanging wardrobe.
KITCHEN
There is a fully fitted kitchen with granite tops and a sweet little breakfast nook.
Available in the kitchen are: tea and coffee facility (includes a percolator), a microwave oven and an electric oven with an electric and gas stove top, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans plus a fridge with a fridge freezer.
The dining room is perfect for enjoying a meal and watching the waves roll-in. A round table that seats eight provides for intimate dinners and sharing stories of the days adventures. A bar fridge and counter space are readily available to service the dining room.
The lounge/living area is relaxed and comfy with satellite television that is communal. If you would like to put your feet up and read a book, there are chairs and coffee tables available for a bit of quiet time.
The balcony provides for stunning yet tranquil views with the ability to lunch out there or to sip sundowners.
The best part is enjoying summer braais/barbeques while dolphins swim past. There is plenty of sea life to look out for and whale watching is particular good during the winter months when the Sardines race past our unique coast.
Our Indian Ocean is warm and blue and there are lots of magnificent rock pools for swimming or snorkeling. Our beach is clean, safe and private with plenty of beautiful shells around. There are good waves for surfing and often pristine conditions for diving/spear fishing.
Our Bed and Breakfast guests can enjoy all of this and will be served with delicious breakfasts, which include cereals, yoghurt, seasonal fruit salad and a variety of warm meals such as bacon and eggs, sausages, omelettes etc. We will also cater for special requirements and diets. For our corporate guests that don’t want breakfast we can provide a packed lunch.
