Established in 1990 and is a South African based National Car Rental Company operating in Cape Town (Head Office), Durban, Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg.

CABS is a customer-driven car rental company meeting clients' transport needs nationally. CABS has been operating for 13 years and has a full range of vehicles to choose from. Our car rental rates, tailored to fit any pocket, enhance travellers' enjoyment of our world renowned Garden Route. We keep a friendly eye on them to ensure a high quality, hassle-free motoring experience.

Most importantly, the spirit of our meet-and-greet, 'service with a smile' ethos should travel with our clients long after they have returned their vehicles. Drop-off's can also be arranged nationally through our branches in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Durban.

Please note:

• This form is for Pre-booking a car, and is used by us to give you information and prices. If you fill in the form, you are NOT OBLIGATED to take a vehicle it only means that we will get back to you within 24 hours with all the prices and car rental info that you could possibly need to plan your trip.
• Our representatives will meet you at the airport, with a name board.
• Credit cards are not accepted for fuel purchases in South Africa.
• There is a one way drop off fee of R450.00 per vehicle. (ie: if you pick up in Johannesburg and drop off in Cape Town).
• Baby seats are available on request @ R12.00 per day.

1. ID and current unendorsed drivers licence of driver/s must be produced
2. The minimum age of authorised driver/s is 23 years
3. Distance is calculated from depot to depot, (where relevant)
4. When vehicles are taken across the border, by prior arrangement, replacement of tyres on return of the vehicle to Cape Town is at the sole discretion of CABS Car Hire (dirt roads)
5. Approval must be given by Cabs Car Hire should a hirer wish to extend the rental and each extension must be sanctioned
6. Minimum charge period is 24 hours
7. The vehicle leaves with a full tank of petrol and renter pays for refuelling on return
8. Rates are subject to change without notice
9. All speedometers are sealed. Should the seal be broken or tampered with, a minimum of 450 kilometres per day will be charged
10. Insurance is compulsory
11. Authority only against credit card is required prior to hire of motor vehicle
12. All accidents occurring on dirt roads and any sandblasting damage caused by wind storms is not covered by the insurance policy
13. One-way rentals subject to drop-off charge
