Clairewood is a place of quiet contemplation, where silence and solitude is measured by the harmony and tranquility of the Outeniqua mountains and surrounding indigenous forest which provides habitat to nearly 200 species of birds and wildlife such as monkeys, bushbuck, porcupine, bushpig and occasional otters.
Our accommodation is the epitome of luxury combining quality and simple refinement. Facilities on site include a swimming pool, tennis court and walking trail through the forest that meander along the banks of the Silver River.
Wilderness is known for its vast stretches of beach, lakes, lagoon and lush indigenous forests. The close proximity of George Airport (20km), Oudtshoorn, Mossel Bay, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay makes it the ideal base from which to discover the Garden Route.
We have two well designed serviced self catering units each with two cozy bedrooms; king-size or twin (sleeps 4 per unit). Bath towels and cotton percale linen are provided.
Each unit has a stylish bathroom with shower and bath facilities and an open plan well equipped modern kitchen with oven, microwave and refrigerator. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided.
The lounge with leather couches, satellite television and fireplace has breathtaking views of the lush green surrounding hills and nearby Outeniqua Mountains and leads through stack-away doors to the patio with built-in barbeque and wooden patio furniture.
