This is the ideal spot from where to explore the many features of the winelands and even farther afield in the Western Cape as we are centrally located - with-in an hour or so's drive to most attractions. 
Franschhoek is the culinary heartland of South Africa spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. All that is needed to enjoy great food is to make timeous reservations. Wine tasting is as easy as driving up to the many cellars in the valley. 

The valley offers wine & cheese tasting, cellar tours, hiking, climbing, cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, cycling, tennis, picnics, jazz every Friday in season, monthly classical concerts, shop till you drop, paragliding, health spas, facials and massages. 

The four bedrooms have air conditioning, top class beds, crisp white percale linen, soft gowns, individual satellite TV, tea & coffee trays, 100% wool carpets, safes, UK wall plugs and hairdryers.
The décor follows the theme of understated elegance with each room having it's own distinctive character. The Balinese furniture perfectly matches the gentle colours in each room. The en-suite bathrooms are modern with power showers, heated towel rails, bath sheets and bath towels are provided, stylish terracotta tiles and unique backlit mirrors, To add to your comfort we are a non-smoking establishment.

Luxury (upstairs)
The first of these two rooms is finished in honey and antique. A lovely mix of browns and tans. The second room is tastefully finished in Wedgewood blue and blends well with the lime-wash cane furnishings and fittings.
These two rooms are fitted with king size beds that can be made into twin beds on prior request. The spacious bathrooms have separate bath and shower units. Both rooms have exquisite mountain views.  
 
Three Deluxe rooms (on the ground and first floor)
Our top of the range rooms finished in light colours offset by the dark Java hardwood furnishings. There is ample wardrobe space for the serious traveller with a walk-in dressing room. A Luxurious king size bed which can also be made into twins by prior request and a spacious bathroom with corner bath and separate shower unit.

The living rooms are tastefully finished and invite you to relax, To add to your comfort we are a non-smoking establishment.
 
Buffet/English Breakfast
A selection of cereals, fresh fruit juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit salads, dried fruits, hams, salamis and a wide cheese selection together with home made breads and produce all prepared with homegrown herbs, a selection of fine teas and filter coffee. Local Smoked Salmon Trout on request. 
 
Main Lounge 
Relax and chat over coffee after breakfast, meet before visits or unwind and read a book. Sip a glass of wine before going to dinner. Cool in the summer and well heated in the winter this is very pleasant room all year round.

The Poolside Lounge & Pool 
Soak up the sun by the solar heated pool and relax in the stunning lounge with it's library and selection of games. Enjoy the quiet away from the bustling centre of town. There are cool drinks to slake the thirst as well. Coffee & Tea Trays available on request.

This stylish self catering cottage has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, a mezzanine open room with 2 single beds, an open plan dining and kitchen area and a spacious lounge. It has north and east covered patios and is in a beautiful garden. To add to your comfort we are a non-smoking establishment.

Montarbre
Self-catering accommodation, Cape Style House within easy walking distance of all Franschhoek facilities. Established garden setting, sparkling pool (salt). 3 Bedroom, 1 en-suite and 1 additional bathroom. Guest cloakroom, vast lounge/dining area, luxury fitted garage. Fully equipped laundry facility.
