Lala Khaya

La La Khaya means "a home in which to sleep or stay" in Xhosa, one of the many African tribes found in South Africa.

Our guesthouse offers you a most enjoyable and comfortable stay in tranquil surroundings. Our aim is to provide you with high quality service during your visit, doing our utmost to make it an unforgettable one.

Guests are warmly greeted each morning with a delicious English breakfast. Sample home baked breads, local cheeses and fresh fruits of the season, or enjoy our continental breakfast in the privacy of your bedroom. During the day you are welcome to order a sandwich or a snack from our selection to enjoy while sitting on the balcony or relaxing around the pool.

We have 5 double bedrooms, all en-suite with a bath and shower, and a choice of a double or 2 single beds. Each bedroom has its own unique style and character reflecting the richness of South African heritage. All our rooms have televisions, clock radios, hairdryers, and tea and coffee making facilities.

After an enjoyable day of shopping and sight-seeing or back-to-back business meetings, you can relax next to the fireplace with a glass of the Cape's finest red wine, or experience a real South African braai (barbeque). Balcony views of the city are perfect to enjoy sundowners and watch the city lights welcome the end of the day.
