Mooiplaas Guesthouse is situated on Mooiplaas farm in the heart of the Klein Karoo, just outside Oudtshoorn.
We offer you the comforts of home with a breathtaking view. A traditional farmhouse breakfast is
served each morning and a barbecue and various light meals can be arranged on request.
Activities available are hiking/walking, jogging, mountain bikes , swimming pool, TV and tours of
our own private ostrich farm.
Hanlie and Viljee Keller invite you to relax in their stylish accommodation on Mooiplaas
(meaning "Beautiful farm"). Four tastefully decorated rooms with airconditioning are provided. Each
room has a television, bathroom, lounge area, separate entrance and under roof parking. A fridge
and beverages are also provided.
Enjoy coffee in the morning overlooking the farm, or on the front porch overlooking Oudtshoorn and the
Swartberg mountain range.
Oudtshoorn, popularly known as the Ostrich Capital of the World, is famous for the Cango Caves. Another special event to attend is a tour at one of the two Ostrich Showfarms where a ride on an ostrich can be arranged (Yes, it is possible!).
