Mountain Bay is situated opposite Harbour Island in Gordon’s Bay, a picturesque seaside village situated between beautiful mountain ranges and the famous False Bay coastline.
Gordon’s Bay has lovely white beaches including the famous “Bikini Beach”, an international blue flag beach. There are many excellent restaurants nearby including popular seafood restaurants at the waterfront complex.
Boat trips and deep sea fishing charters can be booked at the 2 harbours whilst Great White Shark cage diving can be arranged at Gansbaai another seaside village just over an hour’s drive away.
Mountain Bay offers two separate luxury self catering apartments for a family holiday by the seaside and with beautiful mountain views.
Harbour Island unit can accommodate 6 persons and consists of 2 spacious bedrooms each with a double bed and a lounge with a double sleeper couch. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge and microwave and the apartment has a spacious bathroom with a bath and a separate shower.

Mountain Views unit has 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 twin-bedded room.
The kitchenette has a mini stove, small fridge and microwave and is also fully equipped for 4 people.

Other nearby excursions include a trip to Hermanus along some of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world.
Or take a drive over the scenic Sir Lowry’s Pass taking in breathtaking views of the Hottentots Holland mountains, the Helderberg and False Bay.
Caledon with its famous hot water springs and casino is also well worth a visit and the scenery en route is spectacular.
Gordon’s Bay is only 30 minutes from the famous wine routes of Stellenbosch and Paarl.
Directions from the Airport
Continue along the N2 towards Somerset West. Continue past the Broadway Boulevard at Somerset West, past the Lwandle Township, past Broadlands Road until you reach the signpost marked "Gordon's Bay/Kleinmond".
Carry straight down this road called Sir Lowry Drive until you reach a T-junction.
Opposite will be a fish shop "Ooskus".
Turn right and continue past the entrance to Harbour Island until you see on the right hand side of the road a double story house with brown steel balcony: Mountain Bay - No 107 Faure Marine Drive.
Go a little further until you can turn right in the road, then make U turn to our establishment
