comfort, privacy, peacefulness, beautiful surroundings, good breakfasts and a relaxed atmosphere.

The accommodation at the Panhandleplace guest house is all self-catering. All guest house units are of a high standard, en-suite, have outside entrances and a small garden. For the comfort of guests all units are equipped with hair-dryers, bath robes, a full range of shampoo, soap etc, fans, heaters, iron and ironing-board, and desks for the business traveller.

The Cabin is a stunning unit that will make you feel As if you are in a hideaway in some lovely faraway spot. With a king-size bed and bath, as well as a shower under the stars, it is ideal for honeymoon couples or that special getaway. It has its own private garden and self-catering facilities.

The Garden Suite is separate from the main building and has a cute private garden with bubbling water fountain. It has a full bathroom, a kitchen, dining and lounge area and is ideal for long stays.

The Nest, our newest unit, is another sunny, free-standing unit with its own garden and braai area. It is fully self-catering accommodation.

The Blue Family Suite can sleep four in two separate rooms, or six in three rooms. There is a back garden and braai facilities.

Meals: Accommodation can be booked as "bed and breakfast" or accommodation only. Breakfast is comprehensive and served either in our dining room or on a lovely patio in summer. More than a hundred restaurants are conveniently located within a radius of 5 km, which makes dining out a pleasure.

Parking: There is plenty of convenient parking directly in front of accommodation entrances. The gate is locked at night.

Transport: Airport transfers can be pre-arranged with various shuttle and tour companies, who have a door to door service. They also do city tours, excursions to game parks, Sun City, diamond cutting factories etc.

Smoking: We are a non-smoking establishment.

We are centrally situated for The Dome, Rhema, Sandton, Randburg, Cresta, RAU, WITS, Milpark hospital, Sandton Clinic, The Eye Clinic in Beyers Naude Drive and all the business and tourist facilities in Rosebank. We have easy access to all highways round the city as well as main roads over and through the city and suburbs. Being a panhandle we are not visible from the street which enhances the feeling of a "peaceful haven in beautiful surroundings" as well as promoting privacy and security. Our establishment is owner-run, so you will definitely have personal attention!

Garden: The property has a lovely garden with plentiful bird life, and the B&B accommodation each have their own small private garden for guests to enjoy a book , a cup of tea or a picnic lunch, sitting outdoors listening to birds and a bubbling fountain.
