The Pomergranate Guesthouse is situated in the Durbanville Hills with spectacular views of the Boland Mountains.
The town was named after sir BenjaminD’Urban governor to the Cape 1834 to1838. In August 1836 the inhabitants requested the governor it change the name of Pampoenkraal to D’Urban and in 1886 to Durbanville. This area was well known for its wheat, fruit and wine production
it is also well known for its beautiful roses!
