The B&B is situated in Gordon’s Bay, overlooking the breathtakingly beautiful False Bay. We have five bedrooms, all but one en-suite and all with private balconies. All the bedrooms have a great sea view and are tastefully decorated and equipped with tv, dvd, small bar fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, air conditioning (except Rhino Room), ceiling fans, hair dryers, toiletries and cotton percale linen.  We also have one Self Catering Unit (sleeps 3 max).

Steps and a short walk take you from the guest house to the famous Bikini Beach (Blue Flag status) and restaurants, the harbour and the main beach. We are ideally situated for visits to the many surrounding wine estates (Helderberg, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschoek) and for whale watching during the months from July to November.

Gordon’s Bay is a picturesque coastal village nestled between the foot of the Hottentots Holland mountains and the False Bay coast. It is an ideal stopover to or from the Garden Route, only 30km from Cape Town International Airport, and 60 km from Cape Town City Centre (+/- 45 minutes).

Accommodation

18 On Kloof offers five magnificent sea view bedrooms, all but one en-suite, all with private balconies and four with a/c. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and are equipped with all modern conveniences (TV, DVD, coffee and tea making facilities, ceiling fans, hair dryers, toiletries, luxury cotton percale linen and more).
We also have one self catering (family) unit that can accommodate one couple or a couple with one child.
The self catering unit consists of one bedroom with queen size bed, a/c, tv/dvd and one (sleeper) couch. Bathroom with bath and shower. Kitchenette equipped with breakfast nook, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, 5-plate gas hob, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, etc.  Unit has private patio with barbeque facility.

The Lion Room
This spacious room is elegantly furnished with a queen size four poster bed, 2x rocking chairs, desk, TV, DVD, air conditioning, mini bar fridge,  tea/coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, hair dryer, en suite bathroom with shower, toiletries and has great sea views.  Room has private balcony with table and two chairs.

The Leopard Room
This charming room is elegantly furnished with a queen size  bed, TV, DVD, air conditioning, mini bar fridge,  tea/coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, hair dryer, en suite bathroom with shower, toiletries and has great sea views.  Room has private balcony with table and two chairs.

The Elephant Room
This charming room is elegantly furnished with a queen size  bed, TV, DVD, air conditioning, mini bar fridge,  tea/coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, hair dryer, en suite bathroom with bath, toiletries and has great sea views.  The room has a private balcony with table and two chairs.

The Buffalo Room
This spacious room is elegantly furnished with a queen size  bed, sleeper couch, TV, DVD, air conditioning, mini bar fridge,  tea/coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, hair dryer, en suite bathroom with shower, complimentary toiletries.  The room has a private balcony with table and two chairs from where the stunning sunsets can be enjoyed.

The Rhino Room
This charming room is comfortably furnished with two single beds, TV, DVD,   tea/coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, hair dryer, private (NOT en suite) bathroom with shower, bath robes, toiletries and has great sea views.  The room has a private balcony with table and two chairs from where the stunning sunsets can be enjoyed.

Self Catering Unit
This spacious Self Catering unit has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a/c, TV/DVD and one (sleeper) couch.  Big bathroom with bath and shower.  Kitchenette with breakfast nook, fridge, 5-plate gas hob, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities, toaster and crockery/cutlery.

The unit has its own separate entrance and patio with BBQ facilities. It has a view of the ocean and the surrounding Helderberg Mountains and Hottentot Hollands Mountains.
The unit is suitable for a couple or a couple with one child (can sleep on sleeper couch).  Camping cot available for a baby.

Facilities

We overlook the breathtakingly beautiful False Bay, the Helderberg and Table Mountain.
Steps and a short walk take you from the guest house to the main beach and restaurants, the harbour and Bikini Beach, where, apart from excellent swimming, you can also arrange: scuba diving, fishing trips, jet ski hire, canoe hire, waterskiing and sundowner cruises in the bay.

It is ideally situated for visits to the many surrounding wine estates and scenic drives in the area and is particularly popular for whale watching during the months from June to November.

Gordon's Bay offers a relaxed and safe environment with a variety of sports from surfing to sailing and diving.
It is within easy reach of Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Hermanus, Paarl and Franschoek and is a perfect base for exploring the rest of the Western Cape.
