Hermanus Luxury Guesthouse Accommodation
Luxury travel to South Africa must include a trip to the town of Hermanus near Cape Town, and an overnight stay (at least!) at Ocean Eleven Luxury Guest House. The Ocean Eleven Luxury Guest House is situated on the Cape South coast of South Africa, in the quaint coastal town of Hermanus on Walker Bay.
Although the Hermanus village is small, it has a city-like infrastructure and, having been a popular coastal holiday destination for over a hundred years, there are a myriad of things to see and do. Not only does Hermanus offer the best land-based whale viewing in the world, with guests of Ocean Eleven being able to watch these creatures from the comfort of their suite, but our "Champagne Air" is also believed to have restorative qualities and many travel to this coastal town for recuperation and wellness. When visiting Hermanus, a host of adventures await you, from sea kayaking and paragliding to great white shark diving.
The Hermanus golf club offers world class golfing and if this is not enough the famous Arabella golf course is but minutes away. The pristine beaches, charming village shops, variety of restaurants, cliff paths and nature reserve, all nestled between an incandescent mountain range and the spectacular Atlantic Ocean; make Hermanus the perfect destination for a coastal holiday.
Hermanus is a beautiful 90 minute drive from Cape Town making it an easily accessible short-stay destination and should be included on any travel itinerary to Cape Town or South Africa. ROOMS | Standard Room | Deluxe Room | Suite
Situated on the ground floor of the luxury guest house, are the three standard rooms, two of which are in the original house, and therefore have the original floors, high ceilings and windows that open out onto the garden. The third room, adjacent to the swimming pool, features French Doors leading out onto the deck and all three provide en-suite accommodation with a shower.
There are a wide variety of Deluxe Rooms, three of which are situated near the pool - either upstairs or on the ground level. The fourth room has a separate entrance and its own balcony and the fifth, situated in the old house has the original floors, a walk-in dressing room and French Doors opening onto the garden. All Deluxe rooms are en-suite with a bath and shower.
Both suites on offer are situated loft-style in the old roof of the house and are spacious, air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms with a bath and shower. The first, is the Honeymoon Suite for newlyweds, while the second includes a sleeper couch that can accommodate a third person for Bed & Breakfast at an additional fee (see rates).

| Driving Directions | Directions to Ocean Eleven from Cape Town Take the N2 from Cape Town towards George. Pass over Sir Lowry`s Pass. Drive straight. After about +- 20 minutes( you will pass Grabouw) you will pass over the Houw Hoek Pass. As you come down this pass Botriver will be on you Left hand side and shortly after you will see a turn off to Hermanus R43 to your left. - Take this off Ramp Carry along straight along the R43. You will pass the Kleinmond turn. Pass Fisherhaven , Hawston , Vermont , Onrus and the Sandbaai. After the Sandbaai Traffic Lights you will pass through two more sets of lights. After the last set of lights, Your THIRD road to the right ALBERTYN ROAD turn RIGHT. Follow this Albertyn Road until you reach the T - Junction. Turn RIGHT into Westcliff Road and we are the BIG GREY house on the left hand side of the road. Directions to Ocean Eleven from Knysna Take the N2 in the direction of Cape Town. Once you have passed the town of Riviersonderend look out for a sign on your left hand side towards Hermanus ( R326). Turn Left follow the road until you reach STANFORD. You will reach a stop street (there will be a small garage on the right in front of you and on the left a farm stall) Turn RIGHT before going into Stanford. Follow this road straight into Hermanus. Pass the Traffic circle /Roundabout and go straight into the town. You will reach the Main Road , pass straight over the Four ways stop and then you will reach a set of traffic lights where you can only turn Right. Your second road to the LEFT is PARK ROAD ( 7 Eleven & Garage) Turn Left. At the stop street (the sea will be in front of you) TURN RIGHT follow this road straight. We are the 6th house on the left hand side a big grey house on the seaside. Directions to Ocean Eleven from Franschoek From Franschoek take the R45 towards Villiersdorp. You will reach the Theewaterskloof Dam. OPTION 1: Turn Left and drive VIA Villersdorp. Then take the R43 towards Botriver. (You will turn onto the N2 for a short while) Take the R43 in the direction of Hermanus You will pass the Kleinmond turn. Pass Fisherhaven , Hawston , Vermont , Onrus and the Sandbaai.
