The Manor Cottage is located in the Baviaanskloof area of Hout Bay, in a quiet cul-de-sac high up on the side of the mountain. It has direct access to the mountain/walks on the mountain.

Manor Cottage may be booked together with Tranquility Base, for a group of up to 16.

Hout Bay has numerous attractions, and the Cape Peninsula, Cape Town City Centre and the Cape Winelands are all within easy reach. The Manor Cottage is 20 mins from Cape Town centre and 30 mins from Cape Town International airport.

The Manor Cottage is a lovely home set in the mountains of Hout Bay with two double bedrooms and one with twin beds; main bedroom has a shower bathroom and second and third bedrooms share a full bathroom downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house is serviced daily (Mon-Fri).

Hout Bay lies in a valley surrounded by mountains leading out to the sea. It has an old world charm which is difficult to find. With its working fishing harbour, Hout Bay has managed to keep a village atmosphere, even though it is only 20 minutes away from Cape Town city centre.

The village has a few shopping centres, all major banks, many restaurants, the largest bird park in Africa, hiking trails, nature reserves, a Sunday craft market and a beautiful wide beach!
