Accommodation
All rooms have the following:
Comfortable beds and pillows, shared satellite TV and M-net, well stocked mini Bar and snack basket , tea and coffee trays, safe for valuables, desks/dressing tables, hot water bottles, heaters and fans, fluffy white towels, heated towel rails, percale linen, his and her cotton bathrobes and slippers, hairdryers, clock-radios, Charlotte Rhys toiletries, Pool towels and complimentary chocolates. Telephones and internet connections. No smoking in rooms or guest house.

The Leopard Room is tastefully decorated with dark mahogany and rattan furniture with a hint of leopard. This room is situated on the ground floor and has doors which lead onto the pool patio.  The Leopard room is our second largest room with 2 double beds.  It can sleep 4 and is suitable as a family room.  En suite bathroom has bath and shower.  Enjoy reading on the big comfortable couch in the afternoon sun with stunning views of the mountain and pool. Private access to patio makes this room suitable for smokers.

The Colonial Room is our largest room and situated on the first floor. Nostalgic colonial days of years gone by inspired this room with its dark mahogany furniture and original paintings by Zimbabwean Artists.
The Colonial room has 2 double beds and can sleep 5 making it suitable as a family room. This room has three comfortable couches and a separate dressing room. The en suite bathroom has a shower and bath. Sliding doors lead on to the main lounge area. Enjoy fantastic views of the mountain, river and pool from your room. No smoking in rooms. Smokers can use the lounge patio for smoking. One of the couches can be replaced by a single bed if required.
The Colonial room can be converted into a self catering unit by changing the dressing room into a private dining area, making this room suitable for long stays or Kosher guests. Guests are welcome to have breakfast in the main dining room and enjoy lunch and evening meals in the privacy of their room.
We add the following to this dining area. Micro wave oven, toaster, dining table/chairs, crockery and cutlery. The room has a fridge and kettle in it at all times. Please request that the room be converted to self catering when making your booking.

Our Honeymoon Suite is situated on the first floor, with its luxurious slightly decadent d?cor. This room is not only popular with honeymoon couples but with anyone who wants to spoil themselves or their loved ones. The king size bed and French inspired furniture adds a romantic feel of the room. The large en suite bathroom with shower, oval bath and chaise lounge adds the finishing touches to a memorable stay.  Smokers can use the lounge patio for smoking.

The Floral Room is situated on the first floor with great views of the mountain, pool and river. This bright sunny floral room has twin beds and a large en suite bathroom with shower and bath. Sliding doors lead on to the lounge area. Twin beds can be converted to a double bed. 

The Ethnic Room is situated on the ground floor and has twin beds and en suite bathroom with large shower. The twin beds can be converted to a double bed.The Ethnic room has a separate lounge/study to relax or work in with separate access to the lavender garden making this room suitable for smokers. The study can be converted into another bedroom by adding a single bed and taking the couch out of the study. 

Breakfast
We offer a full breakfast served in the dining room or in your room.   We start with a seasonal fruit plate and fruit juice which is a big hit with all our guests.  Our buffet offers a selection of cereals, yoghurts, cheeses, cold meats and freshly baked muffins, toast basket and preserves.  End off with bacon, mushrooms and grilled tomato and your choice of eggs.  (fried, scrambled, poached, boiled, omelettes or French toast).  Percolated coffee and a selection of teas are served with our breakfast.

The Lounge
Lounge about in deep-seated sofas in calm linen champagnes and beiges with a splash of African colour. Listen to Cesaria Evora or Pavarotti. Read Nelson Mandela's Long walk to Freedom or brush up on local South African wines while savouring the amazing view of the mountain.

The Roof garden
Enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain and river from our roof garden which spans the entire area of the house. An ideal spot sheltered from the wind. Suntan read a book or enjoy sundowners with friends or your partner.

Enjoy the tranquillity of our pool and garden while sun tanning or reading by the pool
 
The Liesbeek River
Our garden borders the Liesbeek river. Take a stroll down to the river and enjoy the tranquil sound of the river.

Our Kitchen/self catering
We can offer self catering facilities in your room by adding a microwave and toaster to your room.   You are welcome to use the microwave oven and oven in the main kitchen.  The dining room is always set and you are welcome to eat meals that are bought from Woolworths or Mr Delivery in the dining room. 
 
The garden Patio
Enjoy your breakfast or sundowners on the garden patio leading to the pool, weather permitting.
