Warmest hospitality awaits you at this rose and wine farm with its stunning spacious garden and private accommodation where one still gets awakened by bird singing.

Surrounded by rose plantations, vineyards and breathtaking views (including Stellenbosch mountains) this is a paradise for nature lovers, yet the ideal base for families and wine enthusiasts from which to explore the Cape Peninsula and Cape Winelands.

It is situated in the heart of the Stellenbosch Wine Route in the quiet Stellenbosch Kloof Valley and only 20 minutes from Cape Town Int. Airport - a perfect place to start or end your vacation.

Husband Nicky is the 3rd generation Joubert farming this farm and their house was built by his great grandfather in 1930. 'Aan-den-Weg' means 'At the Road/Route' (historic wagon road to Cape Town).

The guesthouse is personally managed by Petra who notices the smallest detailed needs of her guests, and incorporates her hospitality and passion for people into all her gestures. At Aan-den-Weg people arrive as guests and leave as friends.

Rooms:
2 Spacious bedrooms with beautiful views (1 with double bed & 1 with twin beds) & baby cot.
Private for 1 family or group & private entrance.
Non-smoking rooms.
Linen, bath towels & swimming towels provided.

Meals:
Hearty full farm (English/Continental) breakfasts in buffet style get served on the patio, outside the rooms.
Not much lunch will be needed after the breakfast, but picnic baskets could be arranged for lunch.
Top class restaurants in the winelands for lunch/dinner, some only 3 minutes away.

Driving Directions

From Cape Town/Airport:
Take the N2 to Somerset West/George. From the N2, take the Baden Powell turn off to Stellenbosch (R310). Pass Spier, turn left into Vlottenburg Road  (c/o Stellenbosch Hills Cellar).  At  T-junction turn right towards Stellenbosch and immediately left into Stellenbosch Kloof Road (c/o small farm cafe).  From there 3 km, pass Overgaauw Wine Estate, pass Bonfoi Wine Estate.  Next farm is Aan-den-Weg and the B&B is on your right side.  Welcome!

From George:
Take the N2 to Cape Town. From the N2, take the R44 to Stellenbosch. Pass Stellenbosch golf course, pass schools on right side, turn left into Dorp Street.  Turn left at T junction into R310.  Pass Distell, pass Asara and Neethlingshof wine estates. Turn right into Stellenbosch Kloof Road (c/o small farm cafe).  From there 3 km, pass Overgaauw Wine Estate, pass Bonfoi Wine Estate.  Next farm is Aan-den-Weg and the B&B is on your right side.  Welcome!
