Zambia
Zambia is a land-locked country, roughly the size of France, sharing borders with Zimbabwe and Botswana to the south, Namibia to the southwest, Angola on the west, the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the northwest and Mozambique, Tanzania and Malawi towards the north and east.
Even though Zambia is largely a poor country facing many challenges including tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, it is also well-known as one of the best safari destinations in the world. One of the World’s Seven Natural Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Victoria Falls, is also located here and a “must-see” for any visitor to the country.
