The Garden
The sparkling swimming pool beckons after a day exploring the Cango Caves or riding ostriches at one of the world class Ostrich Show Farms in the area.
 
Braai (barbeque) facilities are available for those who like to do it themselves, or if you prefer, the host and hostess will pamper you with a romantic candle lit dinner of ostrich steaks. 

The Farm
Thylitshia is a working ostrich and wine farm, and in addition to the comfortable surroundings of the guest accommodation, we offer a full range of farm activities.
 
Guests are treated to a private tour of the farm starting with the incubators where visitors can experience chicks hatching, and working through the various stages of development leading to the adult birds.
 
The tour ends with a wine tasting at the farms exclusive winery, and a chance to sample Thys' special "witblitz" distilled on the farm. The winery includes conference facilities for 80 delegates with phone, fax, photocopy and internet access.
