We are located close to the world famous Aliwal Shoal dive site, which is one of the top ten dive sites in the world and is serviced by local dive operators from Umkomaas.

Umkomaas is a small town on the KwaZulu Natal South Coast of South Africa, Situated between Scottburgh & Amanzimtoti. As you approach this quite little village you will be welcomed by the site of a painting of Dolphins and a Whale by a local artist. A warm and friendly welcome is assured as you meet the locals. There are plenty of Restaurants and of course the Dive Charters if you wish to dive the Aliwal Shoal or go Fishing or Dolphin watching. The Winter months June / July brings the annual migration of Sardines to the coast. Dolphins, Gannets, Game Fish can be observed from the beach feeding on the millions of fish which lie just beyond the surf, and often on the beach!
