Whittler's Lodge is situated on a wooded mountainside overlooking the tranquil Hout Bay Valley, South Africa. This peaceful neighbourhood is filled with the calls of numerous wild birds.
The lodge is situated five minutes by car from Hout Bay beach & village where you will find an abundance of delightful restaurants and shops.
Trips to Cape Town, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and Table Mountain take about 20 minutes. Hout Bay lies at the foot of beautiful Chapman's Peak Drive - a mere 35 minutes to the famous Cape Point Nature Reserve and within easy access of the Winelands of the Cape and the famous "Whale spotting" village of Hermanus.

Whittler's Lodge consists of five spacious, fully equipped apartments, all serviced Monday to Friday (except on public holidays) each their own bathrooms and kitchenette. The double roomed apartments are ideal for two couples sharing, or a couple with children, who are most welcome. Each suite has a magnificant view of the pool, forest and the valley. All rooms have TV with M-Net & Satellite.
Our solarium is a lovely airy room, overlooking the garden and pool. It serves as communal meeting place where one can share meal times and sundowners. The large pool affords the hot and weary traveller welcome respite from the holiday crowds.
Our large and forested garden, complete with Koi pond, provides secluded areas in which to sit, relax and listen to the sounds of birds. A number of braai (bar-b-que) facilities can be found in the garden, near the pool, along side the Koi pond, and elsewhere in the large garden. Barbeque supplies available on request.
The lodge has plenty of on-site parking available.The parking areas are fully enclosed. All motor vehicles are supplied with a remote control for the automated security gate system.
